The Presleys moved into this Roosevelt funded housing project in 1950 and were living here when 18 year old Elvis made his very first recording "My Happiness" at Sun Studio in the summer of 1953.

Anyone can live here now because it has been fully renovated as Uptown Square. During Elvis Tribute Week, you can even visit Elvis's humble apartment.
